Jesse p:Well my name is owoh ikenna precious, but am popularly known as jesse p, I am from enugu state of nigeria but was born and brought up in kaduna.
Musicbagg:We know u were nominated for kea Kaduna entertainment award as next rated artist 2015 which was won by megatunez artist Teddybagg how did u feel wen u were nominated?
Jesse p: I felt appreciated, I felt recorgnised, I felt people love the fact that am doing something nice, and that did make me very happy.
Musicbagg: Which famous musicians do you admire? Why?
Jesse p: I admire the chairman M.I abaga, vector, wizkid and some few others, I admire them because they are all about good music, they know what they are doing, and are rili good at it.
Musicbagg:do u knw how to play any music instruments?
Jesse p: lol emmmm yeah, I can play drum, uno I was in boys brigade, back when I was in secondary school.
Musicbagg: Were you influenced by old records & tapes? Which
ones?
Jesse p: wow! yeah a lot, I love listening to michael jackson, witney houston, celin dion, ed-sheeran, westlife, elton john and many more.
Musicbagg: Have you been in competitions? Any prize?
Jesse p: yeah! I've been in competitions, 1st I went 2 a church (gospel) competition, got evicted at quarter final, 2nd was airtel open mic in ABU zaria, but didn't go far there.
The 3rd and recent one was MTN yellow invation, still at ABU zaria, where I came third, and won fone and a diamond bank account worth 250 thousand.

Jesse p: lol yeah yeah. "I mean it" and "wonder" is actually my new songs, which is gonna be dropping very soon, "I mean it" is a dope ass hiphop, am sure my fans are gonna love that one, you guys should keep ur finger crossed nd wait for it, you won't b disappointed.
Musicbagg: Are you shooting any video this year?
Jesse p: wow about video, yeah I actually have plans on shooting a video, probably before the year runs out, I might be having one or two videos.
Musicbagg:we know you are signed into a label, tell us about ur label?
Jesse p: wow my label is an amazing label, you all know BADDEST CONCEPT, one of the most active, if not the most active label, which never stops feeding it fanz with lots of entertainments, no doubt Baddest concept is the most talked about label in kaduna, because of its non stop shows. And I also have cool label mates like Kayyswaggs, shawn wonder, mario and ma CEO, marvellous eteng.

Jesses p: sure man
Musicbagg: What is your dream project?
Jesse p: hmmm my dream project, I will say is to work with my role models, M.I, vector, wizkid,and olamide
Musicbagg:Name three artists you’d like to be compared to?
Jesse p: hmmm I can't rili say man, I don't wanna compete with anyone, if fanz compare me with anybody, fine! But mehn I just wanna be me and do my thing.
Musicbagg: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given?
Jesse p: the best advice I've heard is to do what I love to do, be yourself and never try to be someone else.
Musicbagg:name 4 artists you will like to work with in Kaduna?
Jesse p: 1) kevin word, 2)shawn wonder. 3) marvellous. 4) reborn. Already cooking up something with kevin word tho.
Musicbagg: do you have any song you ft anybody or songs dey ft you in, name of artists and songs name?
Jesse p: yeah I have, young skilon featured kayyswaggs and I recently in a song titled "ole"
I also have a song which I featured 2 amazing upcoming artist Ellarin and ajibola. In a song I release not quit long "feel alright"
I also released a song I featured my long time friend and collegue. Jskillzszz in a song "feeling daa way"
Musicbagg: which artist will you love to work with internationally?
Jesse p: wow hmmm. I'd love to work with drake, kanye west, kendrick lamar, lil wayne, and some few others.
Musicbagg:were do u see you self 5 years form now?
Jesse p: in 5years by God's grace, I suppose dey watch myself for MTVbase, and also been nominated on Headies nd BETaward. Lol yeah

Musicbagg:What advise can you give to beginning artists?
Jesse p: mehn my advice is to never let critics make u stop what you know you good at, instead let it multivate you to do more. People will always critisize, have that in mind.
